Social Skills (W)

Peer relationships and the ability to relate to others are critical for the emotional development of all children. The Kid Connection developed this course with the goal of helping your child to increase social interaction, social awareness, and self-confidence through games and guided therapeutic instruction.
The following are some examples of the social skills targeted for intervention:

Making eye contact
Initiating interactions such as play, conversation, etc.
Taking turns
Understanding other people’s body language such as facial expressions
Understanding emotions and expressing emotions
Friendship building
