ELAR 10 Novel Studies - 1 Credit Fulfills Foundational and Distinguished Achievement Diploma Requirements Methodology In this course, students will read and analyze a variety of literary and nonfiction texts, comparing and contrasting the techniques authors use in literature. The focus of literature will focus on American Literature. Students will apply their understanding of grammar, capitalization, punctuation, spelling, sentence and paragraph structure through varied and frequent writing assignments. Students will expand their understanding of writing as a process and develop their skills in revision by writing expository and analytical essays.
