A Whodunit Forensic Mystery (T)

Step into the shoes of a detective and crack the case in this immersive, hands-on elective where students work individually or in small teams to solve a thrilling crime mystery. In Forensic Detectives, students will explore real-world investigative techniques, learning how to examine fingerprints, ballistics, handwriting samples, and more to uncover the truth.

Students drive the investigation themselves: requesting lab tests, analyzing forensic evidence, questioning the credibility of alibis, and making inferences from incomplete data. Their findings will be recorded in official lab reports, culminating in a final case presentation where they name the suspect(s) and explain their conclusions.
