Embark on a captivating journey through the diverse world of North Texas wildlife. Students will gain valuable insights into the lives of creatures such as: mule deer, bobcats, doves, woodpeckers, house geckos, painted turtles, rat snakes and garter snakes. Through engaging discussions, hands-on activities, resources from wildlife facilities around the area, and guest speakers, students will develop a profound understanding of the local wildlife's importance to our communities. As stewards of nature, we will explore conservation and rescue efforts and discover how they can contribute to preserving North Texas wildlife for generations to come.
